The Winners Board...

We have had some questions about the "Winners Board" in our Gameday room so the expose below will hopefully explain its purpose.

Each Sunday the coaching staff with sift through a few hours of film looking at how our players performed and will then grade them on that performance. Based on that grade and his personal thoughts on the game each coach will then determine which, if any, of the players at his position performed well enough to be designated a "Winner" for that week. During Sunday's staff meeting coaches will discuss players at their position and designate who their winners were.

After final approval from Coach Stock, the "Winners" will be announced to the team at the Monday team meeting and each player will receive two claps from his peers. The office staff will also go to work printing headshots of each player who was a winner. Players are grouped into three categories; special teams, offense and defense which correspond to groupings on the display board in the team's gameday room. After pictures are printed the player's photo is placed on the board under that game for all to see.
